I managed to catch Christina Aguilera’s new movie over the weekend and, boy, was it a sight for tired eyes. But for me, that was pretty much the highlight of the movie, the weak, predictable plot, the association between sexuality and empowerment were clouded over by  the detailed, colourful and oh so extravagant sets.

It pretty much reminds me of the 1920’s flapper era where exquisite details were all the rage. Its pretty obvious that longer hemlines were all the rage back then.

Interpretation of the swing culture by modern day celebs.

Seems that the flapper culture accompanied the mafia or gangster era which is perfect for my upcoming mafia themed event and the dresses at Unique Vintage have never failed to set my hearts aflutter.

Now all I need is a BB gun to set things straight 😛
